Settings live in one editable row. A value not saved here is read from the environment variable of the same meaning, and a badge beside every label says which applied: saved here, from env var, default or not set. Only brand strings and tuning numbers have a default. Anything that names an environment (the app, admin and website URLs, the support address, the sender, the model endpoint) has none: while it is not set, the feature that needs it stops with a CONFIG error naming the setting rather than guessing. Only admins change settings; everyone else reads them.

Organisation

Name, support email, phone, website, the client app URL (where see your cleanup buttons point) and the back office URL. They go into the signature, footer and links of every email the service sends.

Case references

References look like SML-2026-0001. The prefix (up to six upper-case letters) goes into email subjects and reply addresses, so change it only before the first case.
