Received

Every case email goes out with a reply-to address that carries the case reference (cases+SML-2026-0003@…) and the reference in the subject. A reply is matched to its case by the reply address first, then the subject reference, then the sender. Attachments are stored and filed as received documents on the case, completing any waiting document request of the same kind. The filter narrows to any of these. The sidebar count is the number needing a case. Receiving needs a reply-to domain with MX pointing at Resend and the webhook secret set under Settings → Email; until then the panel explains that.

Emails operators send to website leads from the Leads page appear here too, tagged lead.
Playbook email steps, family notifications, operator invitations and test emails, each with when, to, subject, kind, case and status: sent, delivered, delayed, bounced, marked as spam, failed, skipped (mail unset) or dry run. A bounce on a step’s email fails the step so it surfaces in Needs attention on the case and Today.
